Illustration & Apparel Design
Annual Campaign Mockup
A look at the final apparel design in situ. I focused on creating a bold, high-contrast style that translates perfectly to screen printing on various shirt colors.
Narrative World Building
Each year of the series expanded on the previous one, building a recognizable "world" for the students and families of the Carle Auditory Oral School.
Themed Campaign Asset
Designed to be a collectible item for returning participants, ensuring the event felt fresh while maintaining brand loyalty.
Developmental Sketching
All characters began as hand-drawn sketches, allowing for a unique and custom feel that stock imagery cannot provide.

Initial Concept Planning

CAOS Annual Walkathon Series

The Ask: The Carle Auditory Oral School (CAOS) required a recurring t-shirt design for their annual walkathon. They wanted a series of original characters that would evolve each year, following a narrative "adventure" that would build excitement for students and families returning to the event.

The Solution: I developed a cast of characters and a consistent illustrative style that allowed for infinite storytelling possibilities. Each year, I designed a new scene and adventure, moving from initial pencil sketches to finalized vector art. This approach turned the event apparel into a collectible series that the community looked forward to every year.
